This week is a very special day in the Balinese calendar. It’s an amazing time to be on the Island – the streets are lined with the gorgeous penjor, temples are overflowing with colourful offerings, the Balinese are dressed in their ceremony clothing and are busy heading off to their family temples.
Their are lots of venues that are closed today and will reopen at lunch time, as many Balinese staff head back to their villages for Galungan and Kuningan.
